About Tommy

Welcome to the home of Houston Myofascial Release Therapy! My name is Tommy Brooke. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University and am a Licensed Massage Therapist by the State of Texas..

In addition to mastering the state requirements, I have also completed the Advanced National Massage course curriculum. I am a current member of the American Massage Therapy Association. I continue to build upon my massage therapy skills by taking advanced training to insure that my clients are receiving the best, up-to-date care possible.

During my basic massage training, and all through my more advanced and specialized education, many instructors encouraged me with their observations that I possessed an innate and natural ability to be highly effective in providing beneficial massage.

Myofascial Release Treatment courses completed include Myofascial Release 1 and Myofascial Release 2, Unwinding, Pediatrics, Fascial-Pelvis, C-Thoracic, and SES. The skill enhancement seminar (SES) was a one week internship-type training, where I worked directly with John Barnes and his staff treating clients at his treatment center in Paoli, Pennsylvania. I have also been a teaching assistant in MFR 1.

In addition to the above Myofascial Release courses, I have completed 12 CranioSacral courses taught by the John Upledger Institute in Florida including: CranioSacral 1; CranioSacral 2; SER 1 and SER 2: Somato Emotional Release mastering the inner physician, unwinding the meridians, applying acupuncture principles to CST 1;  The Brain Speaks, Touching the Brain & Stimulating self-correction through the glial interface;  CST & Dysfunctions of the Brain/Spinal Cord; CST applications for Conception, Pregnancy and Birthing 1; CST and Digestive and Gastro-intestinal systems; CST and the Endocrine System.

I have also had the privilege of being a teaching assistant in CranioSacral 1 and 2. Other massage courses that I have completed are: Swedish (general massage), 5 courses in Lymphatic Drainage and 6 courses in Visceral Manipulation. I have extensive experience treating all age groups from infants to geriatric clientele.

My desire is to share the power of touch therapy and to help people achieve relief from stress and discomfort. Assisting others in overcoming chronic pain and dysfunction, while providing lasting improvement where possible is my mission. I am willing and prepared to help assist you on your path to healing, whether you are looking for relief from everyday stress with a relaxation massage, or from pain and dysfunction with Myofascial Release and/or CranioSacral treatment.

My wife Susie and I have lived in Houston since we moved our family from California to Texas in summer of 1989. Both our children are grown and married with families of their own. We became grandparents in 2017 and now have four beautiful grandchildren that we are blessed to see often!
